  • How old do I have to be?

    18 - 23 years old

  • Can I bring my car?

    Yes! We encourage you to bring a car so you can better get into the community. However, having a car is not required because you will be living on campus, and will not need daily transportation.

  • Is this program connected to a church?

    Yes we are a ministry connected to Calvary Chapel Fellowship. For more information about our church visit:

  • What type of person is this program for?

    This program is for a young adult who feels called into church ministry and desires to dedicate a year to the development of their experience and understanding of what life in ministry is all about. Our mission is to equip the next generation of church leaders.

  • What do we do in our "free time"?

    Free time during the week is dedicated to individual discipleship, community involvement, and activities with fellow students and church members.

  • Where is the missions trip?

    The end of the year missions trip is a fully immersive experience where our class gets to exercise all of the tools they learned during the program. They take part in evangelism, teaching, worship, community projects and more. We travel with Going The Distance Ministries to serve alongside a local church in La Fortuna, Costa Rica.

  • Can I have a job while in the program?

    No, we ask students to take a year to devote all of their time to discipleship and spiritual growth. The tuition covers all basic financial needs during the program.

  • What does the $4,000 tuition cover?

    The tuition covers a full year of housing, classes, book resources, conference trips, monthly food stipends, outings with guest pastors, merch, the missions trip & more.

  • Can I be in a romantic relationship during the program?

    No, we ask that all romantic relationships/attachments be laid down before entering the ZEAL program as it is designed for single young adults. The heart behind this is to alleviate the responsibilities of a relationship in order to focus on individual discipleship during the time spent in the program.
